A New Era of Writing…
When Claude Skills dropped last October, followed by free Claude Code Web Credits and Antigravity in November, a whole new world opened up to me: using coding apps to write novels. Why not?
Coding involves complex processes.
So do novels.
Coding apps use the same LLMs to write code that we already use to write novels. They literally speak our language.
Story is a form of code, if you think about it. Metaphors, symbolism, tropes, etc.
We’re literally encoded for story.
Why not using coding apps (IDEs) to write books? That question, and the journey afterward, led me to write 26 books in 12 days in November (including Thankgiving) and started my FFA teaching journey as I couldn’t wait to share this information. Other brilliant members of our Coding forum joined me.
December brought more books and more classes taught. By January, I was the Director of The Ink and Code Society at the Future Fiction Academy, and was creating standalone classes to introduce other authors to this idea, based on what I’d learned:
All of these classes work together by design, and their projects are interchangeable. Separately, they’re $199 each. But now, you can grab them as a bundle at $499. PS. I’m now sitting on a backlog of 60 books! And finding new ways to streamline my processes to get these books to market. I’ve released 3 books this year (in addition to teaching, writing, homeschooling, tending my mother through surgery, and doing YouTube Lives.) I have another coming out this month and several more on pre-order. Human proofing is my bottleneck. All books are vetted and heavily edited to ensure high quality. It’s a labor of love, but with all these great tools, it’s not nearly as hard as it used to be. It’s actually a lot of fun!
