Kimberly, I'm sorry you're dealing with Meniere's disease. This is exactly what I needed to read this morning! I have pain that's making it difficult to sit at my computer much. I had thought about dictation, but haven't tried it. Thanks for the nudge. As for secretaries, that must be a Claude thing cause I'm not sure what they are. I would love a series on low power mode, though I'm not sure what I need. I'm not an author, but I published a guided journal last year. I had hoped to publish the second one this year by going very slowly, one prompt at a time. But a recent flare made me wonder about that.

Sandra, thank you and sorry to hear you're having health issues too. I'd say if you're publishing, then you're an author! The guided journal sounds interesting. Dictation is so much better and easier than it used to be. Definitely try it out, you might be pleasantly surprised.

The secretaries I made are scheduled tasks that interact with my information systems and can be created in Claude Desktop, Notion, Antigravity (it just added a scheduler) or Codex. Most of these are IDEs (Integrated Development Environments) that coders use but they have become much more user friendly. We can leverage them too! I'll be talking about this more soon!

Wow, Kim. May the water cure have you back on your feet again soon๐Ÿ™. Thanks for this post. Such practical and sound guidance. All the new shiny objects can get me in "go-go" mode too, where I lose site of the basics. It is all so exciting though! I'm loving cowork and code and now dreaming of a master publishing control center!๐Ÿคช.... Please take good care of yourself and your loved ones, so we can enjoy this wild ride together ๐ŸŽข๐Ÿ›ผ

Thanks, Mary! Trying to see the silver lining and learn from these mistakes. I do NOT want to be bedridden again because I couldn't remember to take care of myself. I will confess to being very driven. My body is telling me to slow down and I have to accept that. I want to stick around long enough to be on this wild ride together too! ๐ŸŽ‰

Cowork is fun and is so helpful. I am really enjoying that program. Codex too has come a long way. Sadly, Antigravity just got torn in two. (I'm still in mourning!) I have an article coming on that next week.

I'm sorry your Meniere's acting up. I have a dear friend with it as well. I find it interesting how many woman I know have autoimmune conditions. I have a theory that its our bodys' way of saying "Enough already!" with all the craziness most of us take on. (Invisible second or third shift, ladies?)

In terms of what would be helpful, just others sharing their own experiences and also reviews of apps or solutions people use on bad days. I just discovered a new wearable that is the first to measure oxygen flow to the brain. That's a big deal for someone with POTS. Things like that.

Thanks, Steph! And sorry youโ€™re dealing with POTS. That doesnโ€™t sound like too much fun either. Sharing tips definitely helps!

Kim, first of all - I'm sorry you've been dealing with all that and hope things work out for you soon! Secondly, you could be describing my life right now - just swap out Meniere's with hereditary heart disease, chronic arthritis pain, plus a rare form of migraine disorder that causes temporary strokes, blindness, paralysis and other fun stuffy stuff. Add in a daughter in severe mental, emotional and financial distress, and having to move with ZERO help from the place I've been for twenty years, the past five months have felt like death by a thousand cuts every day. Every publishing goal I've had so far this year has been abandoned, because I'm doing well just to pack a single box some days. So yes, whenever you are able to come up for air yourself, I would love a working on low power mode series. At one point in time (a while back), I tried to build a system with Chatty that took into account varying energy scenarios. It was clunky at best, since all the cool coding and agent stuff hadn't happened yet. And I haven't had enough time or energy to try again since then, so learning to build one that actually works would be great! However, please take care of yourself and your family first! I hope your move goes more smoothly than mine has been going, and that you are steady on your feet soon. My former sister-in-law had Meniere's, so I know it can be miserable. Lots of virtual hugs and support to you!

Oh my goodness, Rebecca! Youโ€™ve got a heavy load there, girl. I am so sorry youโ€™re dealing with that. It sounds overwhelming. I totally understand that feeling of just doing what you can and no more. Sometimes one box is enough. Sometimes itโ€™s too much.

So yeah, maybe weโ€™ll do some Low-Power, Baby Steps Ink & Code!

Iโ€™m a big picture person, but I do not mind breaking it down into smaller pieces. I apologize for my fire hoses of info. I just love this stuffy stuff so much! LOL

No apologies needed! (I'm guilty of the firehose of TMI, lol). I love all your stuffy stuff - just haven't had a chance to dig into it. Keep telling myself maybe August or July ... (This month is another wash since my move got rescheduled from the 2nd to the 23rd.)
